Continuation of cooperation in training snipers of the “Boru” special unit
Bishkek — A working meeting was held between Colonel Munarbek Shakenov, Head of the Combat Training Directorate of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Aidar Talaybekovich Okenov, Chairman of the Public Association “Sniping Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic.”
During the meeting, the parties discussed further development and strengthening of cooperation in training snipers for the “Boru” special unit. Particular attention was given to improving professional skills, introducing modern training methods, and conducting joint training camps.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue joint work aimed at developing precision shooting skills and enhancing the operational readiness of the units.
Chairman of the Sniping Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic A.T. Okenov noted:
“In 2023, we conducted four training camps in Batken, during which 70 snipers were trained. Starting this year, we will continue this cooperation, focusing on improving the quality of training and expanding the training program.”
The parties expressed confidence that further cooperation will contribute to strengthening the country’s defense capabilities and enhancing the professional competencies of military personnel.
