For the first time, the shooters of the Sniping Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in international competitions held in Serbia.
On June 12, 2023, the international competition "Kahles Justiniana Prima 2023", held near the city of Leskovac, Serbia, ended. Five FSKR shooters took part in these competitions along with 33 shooters from 8 countries. The two-day tournament consisted of 12 exercises with distances from 350 to 1200 meters, with a total of more than 100 shots.
"This is a significant event for our Federation, we went to international competitions for the first time and generally showed a good result," said Aidar Okenov, Chairman of the Board of the Sniping Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the results of the last tournament, the first four places were taken by representatives of the Russian Federation, the fifth place was taken by Azis Zhumaliev, a shooter of the Sniping Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic. Evgeny Vitkhin – 10th place, Aidar Okenov – 15th place, Sergey Zuev – 21st place, Kamilzhan Seitniyazov – 22nd place.
The Sniping Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic was formed in June 2021 on the initiative of enthusiastic shooters. The founders of the federation intend to popularize high-precision shooting, to form a culture of safe handling of firearms with long-barreled rifled weapons, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle, patriotism and respect for nature.
