The KAHLES MILE ultra long-range shooting competition was held in the Chuy Region

On April 18, the Sniping Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic held the KAHLES MILE ultra long-range shooting competition at the training ground of the Ala-Too Training Center of military unit No. 73809 of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Chui Region.

A total of 28 shooters competed in the bolt-action rifle category and 28 shooters in the semi-automatic rifle category.

Shooting distances:

— bolt-action rifles: from 100 to 1645 meters

— semi-automatic rifles: from 50 to 800 meters

“I was impressed by the large number of participants in the one-mile discipline — it is a very challenging competition. I would also like to highlight an officer of the Alpha Special Unit of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, who successfully engaged a target at a distance of 800 meters using a Kalashnikov rifle in 5.45 mm caliber,” said Aidar Talabekovich Okenov, Chairman of the Board of the Sniping Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the results of the competition, the winners are as follows:

  • 1st place — Officer of the Alpha Special Unit of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR), Remington 700 (300 Norma Magnum)
  • 2nd place — Anvarbek Nurmatov, Savage (6.5 Creedmoor)
  • 3rd place — Melis Akylbekov, Desert Tech SRS-A2 (338 Lapua Magnum)
  • 4th place — Ilzat Mirrakhimov, Ilbirs (300 Norma Magnum)
  • 5th place — Konstantin Votyakov, Zbroyar Z 008 (300 WSM)

Tactical Class:

  • 1st place — Officer of the Alpha Special Unit of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR), ORSIS (338 LM)
  • 2nd place — Officer of the Alpha Special Unit of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR), ORSIS (338 LM)
  • 3rd place — Officer of the Alpha Special Unit of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR), Remington (300 WM)

Semi-Automatic Rifle Category:

  • 1st place — Serviceman of the Ilbirs Special Unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, SVD (7.62 mm)
  • 2nd place — Serviceman of the Sher Special Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, SVD (7.62 mm)
  • 3rd place — Serviceman of the Skorpion Special Unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, SVD (7.62 mm)
