“The ‘Issyk-Kul Mile’ competition is traditionally held at the military training ground in Balykchy. We extend special thanks to the Ministry of Defense and the command of the military unit for this opportunity. The location allows for long-range shooting and presents unique weather conditions and unstable winds. Shooters must adapt quickly and learn to ‘read’ the wind accurately. This year, we increased the level of challenge by extending the maximum shooting distance to 1700 meters. Several shooters successfully overcame this challenge. As this match served as the qualifier for the final of the KAHLES Championship in Italy this September, the competition was fierce. Overall, the results show that the skills of our shooters are growing steadily — and that is truly encouraging.” — commented Chief Judge Erik Oskonalievich Babaev.
