The winners of the second stage of the Sniper Cup were determined in Kyrgyzstan
The winners of the second stage of the Sniper Cup were determined. This was reported by the Kyrgyz Sniping Federation to 24.kg. The competition called "Batken Frontier" was held in Buzhum village.
The tournament consisted of nine courses with distances from 100 to 1,000 meters. In five of them the shooters competed in accuracy, in two - in long distances and in two - in dynamics. There were 70 shooters in the tournament.
“Boru” Border Guard's officers placed third and sixth for the first time in the Federation's history. The upgrade of weapons by the Border Guard Service of the State Committee for National Security and joint training with the Federation are bearing fruit. Also, among the difficult courses, we introduced a night course to determine the distance using cross hairs without the use of a rangefinder. Without performing a certain sequence of actions and calculations it is impossible to perform this course," said Aidar Okenov, the Chairman of the Federation's Board.
According to the results of the tournament in the “bolt-action rifle” category, the first place went to Aidar Okenov with a Tikka T3 Tac A1 rifle in 6.5 creedmoor caliber. Anvarbek Nurmatov became the silver medalist of the tournament with Orsis Alpine rifle in 300 wm caliber. Third place went to Boru officer, fourth place to Bakir Arykov with a Remington 700 rifle in 6.5 creedmoor caliber. Rounding out the top five was Evgeny Witkhen with an Ilbirs rifle in 6.5 creedmoor caliber.
Prize-winning shooters were awarded medals, certificates and prizes.
