On May 6, the Sniping Federation of Kyrgyzstan held the II stage of the competition in the T-class "Mountain Hunter" in Batken. This competition is timed to the Victory Day on May 9th.

Professionals and amateurs of high-precision shooting competed in accuracy, speed, attentiveness, shot at paper and metal targets from stable and unstable positions, at distances from 100 to 1000 meters.  Among 58 shooters, one set of medals and certificates for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places with a prize fund of 90 thousand soms was played.

“The second regional competition is being held in Batken, and the almost two-fold increase in the number of shooters is also extremely pleasing: 58 people took part in the competition,” said Aidar Okenov, Chairman of the Board of the Sniping Federation.

Three difficult exercises were a feature of these competitions: a moving target, which moved at a speed of 2.5 meters per second at a distance of 400 meters, long distances at a distance of 1000 meters and an extremely difficult exercise "Pickup" with shooting from a moving car.

The tournament was registered with the International T-Class Confederation and the results of the match were broadcast online.  Timur Popov, referee of the Kyrgyz Sniping Federation, acted as the chief referee of the match.

According to the results of the last tournament out of 9 exercises in the categories: accuracy, dynamics and long distances, Nooman Rokhmonkulov with a Sako rifle in caliber 6.5 Creedmoor won the first place.  The silver medalist of the competition was Aziz Zhumaliev with a Mauser M18 rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor, and the bronze medal went to Sergey Zuev with a Remington rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor.

In the "Semiautomatic" category, the first place was taken by a representative of the SSS(State security service) SCNS.  The second and third places were taken by representatives of the Boroo special forces of the State Committee for National Security.

The Sniping Federation of Kyrgyzstan was formed in June 2021 at the initiative of enthusiastic shooters.  The founders of the federation intend to popularize high-precision shooting in Kyrgyzstan, form a culture of safe handling of long-barreled firearms, and promote a healthy lifestyle, patriotism and respect for nature.
