Sports shooters celebrated Independence Day with sniping competitions.
On August 31, the Sniping Federation of Kyrgyzstan held a shooting competition at the training ground of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Chui region.
The tournament was dedicated to the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic. The competition consisted of 10 exercises with distances from 100 to 1000 meters.
“The past competitions were held, as usual, in a friendly and very competitive atmosphere. All exercises were structured so that participants could demonstrate all their shooting skills. Some of them were marked with arrows as difficult but interesting. Without a doubt, the skill of our athletes is growing, as evidenced by the results of our competitions over and over again.” - said chief judge Erik Babaev
According to the results of the last tournament in the bolt-action rifle category, the tactical class was taken by an employee of the Alpha special forces of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic with a Tikka rifle in 6.5 creedmoor caliber. Second place was taken by an employee of the Alpha special unit of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic with a Sako-TRG rifle in 6.5 creedmoor caliber. An honorable third place was taken by an employee of the 9th service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic with a rifle “Savage 110 BA Tactical” in caliber 338 LM.
In the bolt-action rifle category, first place was taken by Nurmatov Anvarbek with the Savage 110 rifle in 6.5 creedmoor caliber. Second place went to Sergey Zuev with a “Blaser R8” rifle in 6.5 creedmoor caliber. Third place went to Andrey Shestakov with a rifle “BERGARA B14” in caliber 6.5/55. Fourth places were shared by an employee of the Alpha special unit of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic with a Tikka rifle in 6.5 creedmoor caliber, and Denis Zuev with an Ilbirs rifle in 6.5 creedmoor caliber. Fifth place was taken by Evgeniy Witchen with an Ilbirs rifle in 6.5 creedmoor caliber.
In the “semi-automatic rifle” category, first place was awarded to a serviceman of the “Bor” special unit of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic with an “SVD” rifle in 7.62 mm caliber, the “silver” winner was a soldier of the “Ilbirs” special unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic with an “SVD” rifle in 7.62 mm caliber, and “bronze” employee of the “Sher” special unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic with an “SVD” rifle in 7.62 mm caliber;
The shooters who took prizes were awarded medals and certificates.
