Winners of the first stage of the sniper cup are determined in Kyrgyzstan

The tournament was held in the village of Sary-Jon in the Chui region.

Participants competed in various exercises such as shooting at moving targets, shooting at a distance of more than a kilometer and a sniper duel.  The tournament was registered with the International T-Class Confederation, and the results of the match were broadcast online.  Vladimir Nazarov, head of the corps of judges in the Sniping Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, acted as the chief referee at the match,” said Aidar Okenov, Chairman of the Board of the Sniping Federation.

According to the results of the last tournament in the category "Accuracy, dynamics and long distances", Aziz Zhumaliev with a Mauser M18 rifle of 6.5 Creedmoor caliber took the first place.  The silver medalist was Mikhail Zuev with a Blaser R8 rifle in 300WSM caliber, and the bronze medal went to Aidar Okenov with a Tikka Tac A1 rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor caliber.

In the semi-automatic category, the first place was taken by a representative of the special forces of the State Committee for National Security "Alpha" with an SVD rifle.  The representative of the special forces of the State Committee for National Security "Boru" with an SVD rifle became the silver medalist, and the representative of the special forces of the State Committee for National Security "Alfa" with an AR-10 rifle became the bronze medalist.

The winner of the Sniper Duel exercise was Sergei Zuev with a Blaser R8 rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Recall that the Sniping Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic was formed in June 2021 at the initiative of enthusiastic shooters.  The founders of the federation intend to popularize high-precision shooting in Kyrgyzstan, form a culture of safe handling of firearms with long-barreled rifled weapons, and also promote a healthy lifestyle, patriotism and respect for nature.
