On August 23, 2025, at the shooting sports complex “Iskander Service and Company” located in the village of Sary-Zhon, Chuy region, a DLR discipline competition was held, dedicated to the celebration of Kyrgyzstan’s Independence Day.

The tournament brought together 25 shooters who demonstrated their marksmanship at distances ranging from 100 to 1000 meters.

Results:

1st place — Evgeniy Vithen, “Ilbirs” rifle, caliber 6.5 Creedmoor.

2nd place — Sergey Zuev, “Blaser R8” rifle, caliber 6.5 Creedmoor.

3rd place — Officer of the “Alpha” special forces unit of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, “Tikka” rifle, caliber 6.5 Creedmoor.

4th place — Kamilzhan Seitniyazov, “Master Piece Arms” rifle, caliber 6BR Norma.

5th place — Mikhail Zuev, “Blaser R8” rifle, caliber 6.5 Creedmoor.

The chief referee of the competition, Erik Oskonalievich Babaev, highlighted the high level of organization and the professionalism of the participants:

“At this match, dedicated to Kyrgyzstan’s Independence Day, athletes from Kazakhstan took part for the first time. They showed a worthy level of performance and shared positive feedback about our competition.”
