The first stage of the "Kahles - High-Precision Shooting Cup" sniping competition took place in the Chui region

On February 22nd, The Federation of Sniping of the Kyrgyz Republic held the first stage of the "Kahles - High Precision Shooting Cup" competition. The tournament took place on the territory of the Iskander Service and Company Sports Shooting Club in the village of Sary-Zhon in the Chui region.

This match consisted of 10 exercises with distances ranging from 100 to 1100 meters. In 4 of them, shooters competed in precision shooting, in 3 - at long distances, and in 2 - in dynamic shooting. 34 shooters took part in the tournament.

"I am very pleased that these competitions took place as part of the international Kahles competition series around the world. For the first time, complex night exercises were introduced with the determination of distance using the grid of optics," said Aidar Okenov, Chairman of the Board of the Federation of Sniping of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The tournament was registered with the International T-Class Confederation and the match results were broadcasted online.

At the end of the tournament, in the "bolt-action rifle" category, Aidar Okenov took first place with a Tikka Tac A1 rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Sergei Zuev won the silver medal with a Remington rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, and Mikhail Zuev won the bronze medal with a Blaser R8 rifle chambered in 300WSM. Anvarbek Nurmatov took fourth place with a 300WM Orsis Alphine rifle, and the fifth place was taken by an employee of the 9th service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic with a Voere rifle chambered in 300.

The shooters who won the prize places were awarded medals, certificates, cash prizes, and special prizes from the Kahles sponsor.

The sponsor of the competition was the Austrian company Kahles, which has a 120-year history of manufacturing high-precision optics and equipment. In addition, Kahles company gave away three invitations to the World Dynamic Long Range Shooting Championship, which will take place in Italy in September of this year.

The Federation of Sniping of the Kyrgyz Republic was established in June 2021 on the initiative of shooting enthusiasts.
